Hi, If the 'customer' has Office 2007 pre-installed on their machine and has used the Trial. They have now purchased an Office 2007 key but can't find anywhere to put it in. (all the links and reminders tell them to purchase the software, but the IT dept have already purchased a suitable key). They can't seem to locate the icon required as per Is there a command line they can enter which will bring up the option to enter the new office software key? This 'customer' is a remote user so I can't see their screen/machine. Any suggestions appreciated. Bob, Thanks for your reply, surely that can not be the preferred solution for a computer which came pre-installed with Office 2007. Yes, if you have a trial version and not a regular install then you will need to uninstall the trial version before you can install the full version. If they do not have the media they can download the installation from the MS website.
